Wiper motor recall

I just received a recall notice from Thor on the windshield wiper motor possible being loose. The letter mentioned if it needed to be fixed, it would take about 10 minutes to do. Other than an obvious loose wiper motor, does anyone know what this fix is, and how to repair it, can’t be much of a fix if it’s only a 10 minute job. I do not want to travel 2 hours back to the dealer I purchased this from. Thank you.

I agree completely, we also got the letter yesterday and don't care to drive two+ hours each way for something that seems simple. On the other hand if we could schedule a shower curtain replacement, also under recall it might be worth the trip. Jim.

We have a 2015 Vegas 24.1, windshield wiper motor not working, still waiting to hear what exactly caused the problem and how they are fixing it. I'll keep you updated when we hear back tomorrow. BTW, we never got a letter

i called thor last week about my windshield washer motor not working .the windshield washer motor is not part of the recall. the recall is the bolt that holds the wiper blade on can be loose. i checked mine and 1 was tight & 1 was loose. i hand tightened it and will be bringing it in to have fixed but will be adding it to chore list to check before trips.

Also received the letter. Heard about folks with wiper issues some time ago on this forum so to be proactive, applied Loctite to each blade thread, tightened bolts and have had no issues. Also apply RainX to the windshield.

On the early Axis/Vegas units they had issues with the washer motor blowing the wiper fuse which required replacement of said motor. Don't think that has happened to anyone lately though.
