Compass battery drain.

2-3 weeks in storage and my 2016 Compass cab batteries would drain to little or no power to start. I wasn't satisfied with my Camping World dealer telling me this was normal for our very hot climate. They checked it and found no issue. The house batteries were fine, so I was able to start it up with the emergency start button.
On a whim, I decided to try the Ford dealer. They seemed puzzled at first telling me the batteries were bad. 1 year old, but possible I guess? A week later the dealer had the whole rig apart, unplugging everything and still a drain, tracing down every possible wire. They gave me new batteries and found a small short in the cab lights. Thank goodness it was under warranty. Can't imagine the cost of such a service?

Compass Seiki TVs without QAM tuner

Anyone add a QAM tuner to their TVs? Where did you add it? Back of TV or cabinet above fridge?
Anyone go to the trouble of replacing their TVs? How to remove the wall mounts?

I bought a tuner with HDMI out. It has both the QAM and ATSC tuners. But eventually I got tired of running the cable through the window to the tuner.

I just went out and bought a Samsung SMART TV for $200. I replaced the TV in the living area. A lot easier.

Replacing the tv is probably the easiest route to go. There are usually two spring loaded latches that release the tv from the mount.
