Overhead bunk

Hello, can anyone tell me if a standard full size mattress will fit on our drop down bunk on our Hurricane 31S, thanks.

Measure it. A full size mattress is 54 X 75 inches. You also need to think of the thickness or height when razed up for storage.

I don’t think the bed will go completely up. Trying to compress the mattress may also put undo stress on the motors. We put a 2” memory foam topper, cut to size, under the existing mattress. Grandkid loves it.

I did the same thing but put the topper on top. Even the 2" topper put a little stress on the motor. Not much but a little

I always put the pins in then lower the bunk onto the pins. Relieves the stress

mattress size

In our Hurricane 34J, I believe those bunks take a queen size mattress.

but there is little room for it when the bunk is closed. We got an air mattress with an electric air pump to use on that bed.
