Antelope Canyon - Closed

"UPDATE 4/22/2020:
The Navajo Nation Government has extended its declaration of a state of emergency and also extended the closure of Navajo Nation government offices and related entities until May 17th, to help slow the spread of C-19 on the Navajo Nation. The previous Executive Order was set to expire on April 26th. However, this does not necessarily mean everything is opening up on the 17th the Nation will determine the next plan of action check back for the next update." (re: https://www.antelopecanyon.com/covid-19)

Guess it'll have to be some other time.

Well, that's awful.
What about horseshoe or big bend or whatever the spot is south of page where you can see the river?

Page.
What an awful little town.

Where you headed next?
I know every Bush and lizard on those roads up there.....

I was headed to Moab. That's closed too. I'm headed to Bryce in hopes of waiting this thing out. A BIG fat middle finger to China. Their attempt to get ahead on the forefront of biomedical research/warfare lead to the biggest natural disaster to hit planet earth in recent history. Looks like it worked and I'm mad as hell.

There's a really cute little camp ground between you and Bryce.
It's called Mary and Joe's or something like that.
Big cotton woods. Really cute.

Kanab has a sort of motel where each room is a brand new(last year) little cabin.
Lots of good parking, you just pull up in front of your little house.
It could be a nice break if you need to rework the rv and do an unload/reload.

That little campground is about 60 miles farther down the road..

The 4 corners Indian Reservations have been hit extremely hard by covid . New Mexico reservations are closed to outsiders. I assume the other states have similar lock downs since the whole area is in dire trouble. It is best to avoid the area for your health and theirs.
