What do folks recommend for cleaning and waxing their Thor Tiburon RV?

Another "frequent poster" twisted my arm... and I am NOW using Meguiars #56 wax on our RV's gelcoat. Not sure if you have fiberglass/gelcoat or full body paint, but I have proof that #56 will give excellent results on fiberglass gelcoat. There's NO SUBSTITUTE or shortcuts for a good wax coating!

Make sure the cleaning solution has the appropriate amount of disinfectant to clear the covid bug. And it's required that you mask up to prevent any stray virus that you picked up from causing a super spreader event. They are now making special RV masks, they resemble RV storage covers, that you can get to keep everyone safe and be socially responsible. Don't forget the special RV treatment and now with 4 boosters recommended. A good wax will prevent any of those nasty bugs from sticking and any remnants can easily be washed off and disinfected with the proper solution of 70% alcohol. Use cheap vodka or grain alcohol if available.

Well I agree and use what Chance uses, never had an issue. By the way, isn't it a bit cold and crummy to be washing and waxing your MH now in Pennsylvania? It is here in NY. Might be best to hold off now until the weather breaks in the spring. By the way, did you even do a search for cleaning, waxing here on the forum, should be tons of information on what others do and what works best although I do like Chance's answer.

Aero Cosmetics Wash Wax All.
We use it on RV and show car, body and wheels and glass, and counters and removing bugs and in the home and work sinks.
Works a bit better, and far far easier to apply than rainx on glass.
It's great and slick and smooth and wet or dry wash.

I've tried many, this'll be hard to beat for ease, cost and finish.

I bought it because I didn't want to wet wash/wax the t-bird. We now use it on everything.

I've used this for years on airplanes, race cars, boats and every day drivers. Great stuff.

Have had my Thor Siesta Class C for a few years, and had it washed a few times - but it's looking a little worn, so let me ask:

We have decals over a good part of the body - and I don't really care about them too much, but I don't want them to look WORSE than they do - torn in places - and the parts without decals look faded...

So: does "full body paint" above mean you have no decals? I don't really want to take the time to apply tape around the decals... Can I use the products you suggest, and just do the full body, including decals?

Thanks
Dan

Aero Cosmetics Wash Wax All. I'm a fan and use it essentially on everything that rolls. In fact, I use several of Aero's other products and love them all. I really wish I would have found this brand years earlier.

We just tonight ordered the aero cosmetics degreaser.
I hate the fumes from Oil Eater.

I don't know how I hadn't heard of it years ago.

Yes full body paint is usually 3-4 colors with the swirls etc. No decals except maybe a brand identifier in a sticker or decal. FBP if maintained can look new for decades. Ignored, parked in full sun/rain with no protection and no waxing and it will look like an abused car.

From this thread we ordered some of the blue Wash/Wax All
After using it, we re-ordered. Really a slick surface.
Planning to follow-up with Wall All the ceramic wax.

Especially like that it can be used on black plastic trim parts and not turn chalky white.
