Covid 19 restrictions on RVers?

We are planning our first big RV trip up the east coast and then over through midwest and back to Florida. We hear several states are making people "self quarantine for 14 days". How does all this effect RVers especially if just passing through the state and staying for a day here and there at campsites? Would appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks.

Thought the whole "self quarantine" thing was going away now that states have been "opening up".

Your best bet is to call the campground you're planning on stopping at (if you have all that narrowed down) and ask them. They would best know what is going on (even state parks).

In many cases the campground's website may have enough information.

We did a quick "weekend" trip to a neighboring state and had no issues--didn't even interact with anyone.

I agree: call ahead, and find out how it's all being handled.
Good luck!

We have reservations at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds in September. WDW has currently cancelled all dining plans, and has put a pre-registration only for Park admittance in place.
So without knowing where we'll be able to eat: they expect us to know which Park we want to be in each day...

IL Restaurant Offers Unique Dining Option by Using RVs

A restaurant in suburban Long Grove is putting a unique twist on dining out during the pandemic by setting up RVs for private dining.

Chatter Box, which is located at 330 Old McHenry Rd., created the new, innovative offering called "Camp Find-A-Way" to help people have a nice dining experience while helping them stay safe, according to a restaurant spokesman.

While Chatter Box has yet to start accepting reservations, which will be required, several campers are already parked in the restaurant's parking lot in anticipation of customers

I live 2 miles South of the James. The James splits Virginia.
