Is that a little bit heavy to wear on your head? I think I might have used a K&N filter that I can clean and oil myself.

Folks let's keep a cool head over this issue.
We don't need the thread shut down over Political bickering.

NOTE: I am certainly NOT a moderator: just a guy who's seen too many discussions get shut down.

We have no qualms about using our RV now. We limit people exposure as much as possible.

The biggest challenge in planning a trip is making sure your tourism interests are open and operating, e.g., museums, historical homes, etc.

We used our coach all year once my company eased up on the travel restrictions. That was really the only way that you could go anywhere. Things were different sure but still plenty to do. For this yeah we are working on the rest of our plans. But our main trip is driving from Washington to fort wilderness for my sons 5 bday. The original plan was Disneyland but since the idiot governor thinks California should never open we changed plans. Positive thing is it’s Disney worlds 50th anniversary.

We limited trips last summer to within a days drive of home. Both of us have underlying health issues and didn't want to end up sick 1000 miles from home. Surprisingly we found many great spots to camp within a few hundred miles of the homestead.
Being self contained we felt comfortable in the MH.
The wife gets her first dose of Moderna tomorrow I follow in a couple weeks. After getting a vaccine we feel traveling cross country is as safe as its gonna get for awhile.
Vaccine rollout, at least shots in arms has been at the state level. I didn't vote for our Governor but I give credit where credit is due his rollout has been working very well. As long as the Feds can get us enough juice he has the system and the people in place to jab you.

We're in Vegas right now.
This might be the stupidest city in the entiire world about this thing.
That said:
If we were in the motorhome it would all be 10x easier than in a casino hotel.
I bet I could go 15,000 miles and not get within 50ft of anyone except when I passed them on the road.

The nice thing about this all is:
the people I wish would keep their petuli and pajama man-bun ass away from me...are.

We are actually planning a 4000 mile trip for this summer beginning in the May or June timeframe. Unless it is cancelled we also plan to attend the FMCA International Rally in Gillette Wyoming in July. Will spend the summer on the road and then hit the winter place in SC about November.

Wait a minute Dave...
You winter in South Carolina?
How much warmer can it be?
You've only got one State between you and your home turf?

Right now it is 9 degrees warmer with light rain rather than the snow we are getting here in Virginia. I rather dodge raindrops than shovel snow. We just bought the place in November and are in the process of outfitting it and we will be heading there for the remainder of the year after a couple of medical appointments early Feb. Our daughter made a career change moving back. to the area so she is going to rent the sticks and bricks here for a year or two.

Understood...
You don't have to shovel raindrops!

That's why when we retire: we're going to find a place where they've never seen a snowblower.

We are planning a summer trip to cover about 6,000 miles from California to Kentucky. Visiting my wife's family. Taking a couple of friends with us on the road while towing the car. We also have another trip to Solvang and then one to Utah within the next couple of months. We use common sense and go by the rules when it comes to social contacts in the public.

Thumbs up We feel perfectly safe

we just returned from a trip to Savannah GA. No problem at all. We did not use the common areas of the campground and stayed pretty much to ourselves. Missed the meeting people part but waved and talked to several from a distance and had a great time in Downtown Savannah. One day we spent the entire day touring and old civil war fort and went to the beach for lunch. So go and enjoy at your own comfort level.

Turn the TV off...ignore the idiots and hit the road. You have your own hotel room, grocery store and restaurant with you everywhere you go...it's all you need. Campgrounds are very busy...reserve ahead and do aerial views ahead of yourself, making sure you have the space you require at each campsite to feel and stay safe. You may not always be able to go into public venues, etc., but...it's about the journey, not the destination. We're having a blast. Just got back from a 21 day run through The Keys and back. Ate out only once at a place we felt comfortable about. You won't get another chance tomorrow to enjoy your life today. Join "Harvest Hosts"...it's an excellent option to crowded campgrounds and a much more peaceful experience.

My wife and I will receive our second vaccine in the middle of February and we are planning on a trip to Mount Rushmore in August with our neighbors/friends (also vaccinated).
We will still adhere to CDC guidance as far as masks and sanitation is concerned but feel much more confident then we did last summer. Just be smart about it and protect yourself and others.

RV travel 2021

By the 13 of Feb we will have Dose 2. We are in our late 70’s with some medical issues. We will continue to be careful with masks and avoid restaurants. Last fall we took 2 trips in our ‘20 Thor 4 winds 31Y. One was a week in ABQ and another to Arkansas for a week. We left from West Texas. The only contact we had with others was at toll booths. We will be careful but don’t intend to spend another year in the living room, likely in the LR in the Thor. We are looking at a trip this year of 4000-6000 miles beginning in late March or early April.

We don’t have to walk a dog but on previous trips we were allowed to wander the KOA. We wore masks and kept of distance.

Happy and safe trails to everyone

We are about 10 years younger then you but are cautious as well. We travel with our dog, when I walk him most people keep their distance because we have have a Doberman (he is actually really friendly, especially with children). We are good with that.
