We'll be heading to Emigrant to base-camp with excursions into Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Jackson Hole mid-May into June.

We already have plans to travel this summer around Tennessee and surrounding states and in late September going to the northeast for a couple months. Hopefully those states in particular will be allowing business' to open. If not, we'll see......

Last year we went to the northwest and traveled during Covid. Had a great time. Since much was closed we saved money not buying tourist junk and gas prices were down too.

Yeah our first trip is just a weekend at a state park to make sure the coach survived winter relatively unscathed.

Much "bigger" trip for us planned later in the summer: two weeks through Colorado and Utah...

To all you Veterans, As of November, 2020, You now get into National parks for free. If you have not bought a National Park pass, You do not need to now.

Just show one of the following:
**Department of Defense Identification Card (CAC Card)
**Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
**Veteran ID Card
**Veterans designation on a state-issued U.S. driver’s license or identification card.

Oh and Thank You for your service.

Your veteran ID's do not get you in free directly. They allow you to obtain a free Annual Interagency Military Pass. That pass gets you and your family in free. Renew yearly.

Yes it does. It states directly all you have to do is show your I'd.
You may be thinking the old way. All changed last November.

Any recommendations in the Adirondacks? Headed that way soon. Prefer mountainous terrain.

Lake George, NY:
Lake George RV Park. We really lijke that place, and have been there 3 tuimes.
For further up in the 'dacks: I have no particular suggestions. We normally stay at our Deer Camp outside of Onchiota.
But ANY campsite around Lake Placid should be pretty good.
(Or even Saranac Lake)

You can't get any closer than that!
I don't know of any campgrounds up there.
By the way... the only effective bug repellent up there is Ben's 100.
Orange bottle, and use it liberally! (They measure the bugs by the distance between their eyes. A four-incher is medium sized!)

They don't use flyswatters for bug control either: it's usually a .410 shotgun!

We continued to camp and travel throughout 2020. Went to Biloxi to the beach and casinos, spent some time out in Denver, another trip to Missouri, and a trip to Southern Indiana for a few days to hang out by the fire and thrift shop.
