Walt Disney World
Well... They've cut out the Park Hopper Passes, Fireworks, Parades, and all Dining Plans (For now...)
You must reserve a spot in order to get into a particular Park each day.
No Dining reservations can be made as of right now; but that is coming soon...

We have campground reservation late Sept. Just got park reservations on Tuesday. We have annual passes so they extended exp date into Jan.
I am not certain what it will be like at reduced capacity. By standard practice we always schedule during ligher attendance times. With the distancing it should be fine. Some stuff will be off limits but it should still be fun.
They go out of way to create a positive experience, so we trust we will not have any complaints.
One park/day is about our limit for energy anyway. We will bring more food than usual because buffets will not be active.

We'll be there from September 5th; to the 11th.
I agree: they do go out of their way to keep everybody happy.

Did they reduce the admission price as well?

We pulled the plug on the trip to WDW...
Two days on the road each way; with an (as yet) untested system for allowing the Missus to perform her necessary dialysis treatments...
Added to all of the features the WDW has put on hold...
Just made it not worth going.
So instead: we're going to spend a full week at a KOA up near Cooperstown.
It's a really pretty area of the State, and we know that it'll be a great trip.

Even with all of the health safety protocols that they have put in place....
Those crowds would terrify me!
With her cancer, renal failure, and diabetes... there's just no margin for error!

OOh the Cooperstown KOA...been there. Yes Cooperstown is a really nice area (even without the BBHOF).
(We stopped on our way to Boston. Normandy Farms in Foxborough, MA is a really nice campground: 2nd or 3rd to Ft Wilderness in my book.)

Jamie,
Thanks for this info... it'll make her feel better about calling off WDW.
(It had to be her decision...)
When you were in the area; did you get down to Brooks BBQ in Oneonta?
Some of the best BBQ on the East Coast!
We're pretty familiar with Cooperstown: the kid got his undergraduate degree in Oneonta, and I used to bring my Grandparents up to the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in C'town...

Bob, on top of it all, Florida is still requiring residents of NY/NJ/CT to self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in FL. And now the Tri-States are requiring people arriving from several states, including FL, to quarantine for another 14 days upon arrival. There's no indication how long those requirements will remain in effect.
Also... Florida's numbers have skyrocketed in the past week. 9,585 just in the last 24 hours.
Sorry your trip is spoiled, but I believe you made the right decision.

Yeah, I live in Florida and would not think of going to any of these parks as long as CV19 is a real threat. The Governor just killed on-site alcohol services (Bars closed) again precautions at restaurants are poorly adhered to, if at all. Lotsa neck, chin, and mouth protection.
Buffet eating? Don't event think about it. There are some open but I won't be going.
I live in a county where we just exceeded 200 cases, only 4 people currently hospitalized, 2 in ICU; but I travel all over the State. But we did have the moronic protests here two weeks ago; now we're having new cases like we did at the peak. Related? You be the judge.
My wife and I are not "doom and gloomers" about this virus. We work as normal everyday but do take the simple precautions about washing hands, sanitizing when unable to wash, minimizing close quarters and contact, and simply wearing masks correctly when appropriate. We recognize the precautions which are useful and laugh at the precautions which are ridiculous. We eat out, we shop, we try to live as normal a life as we can within the restrictions in place. No movies even though they have been allowed for two weeks, the theaters won't open until July 10, if even then. No fast food dine in; most of those are still closed due to corporate restrictions. Heck, I can't even drop off my birth certificate at the local Social Security office to sign up for Medicare - closed to the public: they couldn't have a drop box?
So we'll limit our RVing to visiting family in other parts of the state and going to the beach until this crap really gets under control.

Didn't make it there. Our Cooperstown stop was just an overnight on the baseball journey. Fenway park was stadium #5 of 30--sooo glad we finished them all last summer.

I am a travel agent for AAA and feel your pain. Disney keeps pushing everything out. We have had to reschedule all our customers over and over again most of them are waiting until 2021.
Preparing the park for social distancing is are really big challenge for them and they are working on training their cast members on how to deal with everything. This all takes a lot of time when you have to social distance. And I've got thousands of employees.
The best advice is just keep checking with their website, that's where the newest info is going to be. Listening to other websites is going to be misleading.
Good luck to all of you, I'm stuck in Portland Oregon, was supposed to be out of here in May on the road across country in my Thor Four Winds.
Jeanie

Hi Bob, I'm happy to be here I'm a new RV'r in a 30 foot Thor Four Winds. I bought it from a place that's far away from me and nobody ever seems to have the answer to my questions. I have read a lot but sent can't seem to find the answer.
Can I put a couple to you?
I know when you have electricity you plug in and have your surge protector excetera, but when you are driving are you supposed to plug the black power plug plug into the rig so it charges the battery? I don't know if I'm asking the right way.
2nd question is, when my power goes off if a breaker blows from the power source and then I turn it back on my fuse box has a fan that goes on and the only thing that makes it turn off is clicking the little red light inside the front door. Is the noise in the fuse box a fan to cool it? And am I correct to hit the red button to turn it off?
Thanks for any help you can give.
