Either home brew margaritas, or Miller High Life with a side of Fireball. Or some White Zin, or maybe a Rum and Coke, but I am not particular so long as it is with Shirley and some good friends around the fire.

I buy you books...i send you to school...and all you want to do is boink the teacher....

(Said in an exasperated voice, one of My step-dads used to say this as a silence breaker or conversation changer. I'm sure it's a punchline to a joke I can't find.
He also said it as a:
'Are ya stupud? I said hand me a ratchet not a crescent.')

Here ya go. Just a heads up.
Be prepared.

There are a very few authors who will take on:
Pets are parasites. They deliver chemicals to our brain in exchange for food and shelter.

Not my opinion, just a research point. A Research point I'm telling you IS being researched by those who need a plot point.

I'm just preparing you for what might become a mainstream argument.

Don't take the time to holler at me. I've posted no opinion here. I posted a news foreboding warning and an idea of what you might want to prepare for.
Prepare. Research, be involved.

Maybe, but my two make me walk 1.1 miles every day. So they keep my health up. The motive for them is that they can get food and treats.

So what’s your point? “Chemicals to the brain” is a MOST excellent return for having my dog. The world is full of symbiotic relationships and it’s the better for it.

The point is
Someone is researching the intimate relation and close proximity we all have with known, but so far ignored, covid transmitters.
Pets.
We all may have to decide to get them vaccinated, if available, or give them up.

The wildlife and rat examples in the story are not intimate.
Fluffy is.

Just a warning about how real-life works and how those who decide what real-life is, tend to keep making decisions.

Just something you might need to think about if they start rounding up pets,
One civilized country has 'sampled' this process.

Well we got our second booster yesterday. I had a mild headache that lasted till about four PM today and did not feel like eating. Now I am over it. My wife got a headache that developed into a migraine. Puked her guts out and finally gave in and I took her to the ER at midnight. She was admitted at two PM today out of the ER. She developed a 102* fever, still has a migraine off and on, and can only take a few sips of water off and on. No visitors do to COVID. She will be kept until she can keep things down and take her pills. It maybe two more days. She does not do COVID shots well.

Well my wife spent three days in the hospital. She had two days home and back in to the hospital for six more days. She started to be out of bed five days ago for a couple of hours each day. She has now gone up to five hours. She has to take five blood pressure medications at different times, nine times, starting at six AM ending at ten PM with blood pressure monitored each time and reported to her doctor every other day. Life goes on, but they are trying to convince her to get the new booster in the fall. Fat chance.
