That didn't happen to be a yellow submarine: did it?

Had dinner and now the tired side effect is kicking in.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Nope, that was the color of the targets for the Trident missiles we carried which may or may not have been nuclear weapons.

That was the USS Rhode Island out of Kings Bay, GA.

LOL. Two types of ships in the Navy...submarines and targets. I was a Tin Can sailor...targets.

How safe the Vaccine is.

For those concerned about the the safety of the COVID-19 Vaccines.
I donate Blood on a regular Basis, specifically Platelets.
When I was donating platelets in January I was told that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine is so safe that you can even donate Blood the same day after receiving the vaccine.

This is from their website:
Can I donate after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine ?
If you received an mRNA vaccine such as Pfizer or Moderna, or an adenovirus vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson’s, you may donate blood, platelets, or regular plasma immediately after vaccination as long as you are feeling well and all other donor criteria are met.
https://www.nybc.org/donate-blood/co...donation-copy/

For those that still don't feel it is safe then now is a good time to start storing your own Blood.

Thanks for that. “Knowledge is Power, Power provides Information; Information leads to Education, Education breeds Wisdom; Wisdom is Liberation. People are not liberated because of lack of knowledge.”.

Not me!
I'll keep my opinions to myself on the recipe of ingredients used to make the vaccine.

Do what you need to do to make yourself feel good, now let's go camping...

Nothing like a double negative quote to confuse.
“In life two negatives don't make a positive. Double negatives turn positive only in math and formal logic. In life things just get worse and worse and worse.” ― Robert McKee

We waiting unless vac made mandatory for road travel. Many have had with no issue we know. Since our exposure is minimal and taking precautions we will wait a bit. Very new vac without benefits of long term testing gives us pause. Wife retired RN and I worked for big pharma in Mab/IGIV plant.

Interesting note: Son wife 30+, tested positive (flu like, no smell/taste) and after 2 days smell/taste returned and 4 days later negative test. Kids 4, 6, 12 and 16 plus sis 30, Mom 62 and grandma 83 along with my son never felt bad or tested positive. Wife and I stayed away 3 weeks and wife scratching head as it was thought to be highly contagious.

You have to remember that whatever "long-term testing" means: people were (are are) still dying from this virus.
That is an undeniable side-effect...

A lot of Polio, Chickenpox etc survivors are "probably NOT" skipping the covid 19 vaccine
I would like to look into the future to see how the people who are NOT taking the vaccine will be doing in 20 or 30 years
The "longhaulers" may be a look at the future, I hope not but

Our youngest daughter tested positive for COVID on Tuesday and started displaying symptoms yesterday. She is in Virginia where they are still restrictive on who gets the vaccination. Her husband tested negative and we are waiting on the test results for our 5 year old grandson. We have a friend that has a heart condition with an implanted pace maker and he does not yet qualify for the vaccination under the state's criteria.
