And some people don't understand why different precautions/requirements should exist for different parts of the country instead of blanket requirements for the entire country. Local government knows best, or should know best, what is needed in their area. Unfortunately there are always exceptions to that rule (NY and CA - we're looking at you).

So with this recent CDC recommendation, I wonder when the administrative requirement to always wear a mask on Federal Property will be rescinded?

We are still on fence. If it becomes a requirement or is needed for what we do, we will not hesitate to get shot.

At the present time, nobody in direct bloodline has gotten virus to date across multiple states. Daughter in law had a couple days of light flu syptoms after positive test. In packed household of a range of ages 4 to 84, nobody else got sick at all. One relative has passed but was outside bloodline and was heavy along with major asthema issues in 50's.

We still wear masks as we understand not ultimate but better than nothing and also practice normal hygiene which we learned as children.

Many have gotten course of shots without issue, a few have had issues. Enough to be a concern but not enough to say absolutely no.

Everybody needs to make own choice based on risk. This is still a free country.

I was asking for an explanation and don't think that was out of bounds. You can place them on a pedestal if you wish. It's your right. I refrain.

Our most interesting discussions should not be interjected with a one line threat and no explanation.

I wasn't calling for dismissal, though would if I deemed it necessary. That is my right.

Freedom of thought, freedom of expression. If that doesn't exist here, it tells me what I need to know.

This is the new millenium, feelings are more important than logic. How much real logic surrounds current events? I have "Acquired Natural Immunity"
That is, I caught the virus and survived (just like nearly 99% of others who contracted it)

However...
- People with natural immunity could now be kept from employment, education, travel, normal commerce, and who knows what other things if they don’t submit to a vaccine they don’t need in order to fulfill a head count that confuses a means with the end

Yes you are. Natural immunity is the best. At least according to the science. One big benefit is your immunity is stronger against the variants. It is easier for the government to just demand everyone get the vaccine and carry papers as proof. There will be enough pushback that at some point natural will be recognized as immune. There are over 100 million of you here in the US.
