He also said it was for protection against all known variants. there are now 3 known but 4 variants can be accommodated in one booster shot just in the flu shot.

had my annual with my VA doc on weds
she asked if had been contacted to get it and if i wanted to get scheduled.
we had a long talk about my concerns and risks
she told me to wait 6 to 8 months and see what transpires. no pressure and keep doing what we have been doing to stay safe
it was a refreshing talk

Had my 2nd Pfizer shot Weds, and no side effects.
Today (Friday) I donated a Triple Platelet Donation at the Blood Center.
Hopefully my Zombie blood won't hurt the cancer patients receiving transfusions in the hospital.

My DW and I are a month past our Moderna dose 2. We had zero after shot effect. We are still being cautious but have eaten out twice, took a 11 day RV trip to visit g’kids and Gr-G’kids and planning a 30 day one. We will resume life but wear masks as appropriate. Even though this state is generally opened up, the use of masks in stores is in the 80% range. Restaurants are taking precautions. Enjoy life but cautiously. Go camping.

Got my second Moderna shot yesterday. Last night our well tank at the house failed after 33 years. Spent the morning replacing the tank with a Covid vaccine hangover  . The smell of PVC primer and glue with a headache was a little tough to take.

Well heck the flu is gone for the most part and the 40,000 or so folks didn't die apparently this past year. One case of flu reported in our area the past 12 months so quite a change from the epidemic levels the year prior
I dabble in real estate and in the Mid-West we have a serious housing shortage. Now you would think otherwise watching the main stream media with all the people dying off every day.
Reading deep into the page 17 or further and it appears if you have a weak immune system the vaccine won't protect, what a surprise
People have been brain washed beyond belief and lets hopefully allow everyone to enjoy their own opinion instead of taking the liberal way and attacking anyone that don't believe the same
Lets go camping and live just as we did all last year without hiding out at the sticks and bricks

DW, 3 Irish Setters and I are camping right now. Been in Gulf Waters RV Resort, Port Aransas, TX for 10 days. Back home tomorrow.......

We have been at home too long. I've had other things that have retained me here at the house and I see some light at the end of the tunnel.
I started working on the motorhome today. I started doing a oxygenation remover, polish and carnauba wax job today. I should have it complete in a couple more days.
The MH accumulated some crud since I pretty much parked it last year about this time. The inside is ready to go. I just gotta do some TLC on the outside.
First trip is scheduled for the 26th of this month. Heading to Grand Isle La with a couple other RV buddies towing golf carts. After that, it depends on which way the wind is blowing. Probably a few state parks in Arkansas.
We are fully vaccinated. Still will mask up in public places, stores and such.
But we be hitting the road...
