Unhappy 2010 Freedom Elite Antenna Booster Location?

Hello,

Okay, I have searched and searched..... seems there are no manuals for 24' 2010 Freedom Elites to be found. Bought second hand, where the heck are they hiding the antenna booster?

Please......

Not familiar with your model, but my guess would be that it should be close to the main TV location.

What model Freedom Elite? 24' is not a model. We need to see the floorplan to give you a good guess/answer.

This is the floorplan, only it's a 2010... but the same.

Yes, they have done a masterful job of hiding it.

A lot are co-located with the coax cable connector plate.
In our class A it is built in the TVs/DVD/cable/ant. selector box which I found odd and I do not have a picture of that.

Did you get up in a step stool and look in the cabinets? Mine is far back in the cabinet above the microwave that I cannot see or reach it standing on the floor. If I were to guess the first place I would look is above the Refrigerator.

That's where I think it is too, but I can't even find that. Here's the deal, I am a Boondocker's Welcome host and the RV belongs to a guest. They are literally brand new to RVing, and they replaced the TV, using the coax that disappears under cabinet trim..... so I have no idea where it ends. They can't get TV and didn't even know there is a booster, I knew because I have a same generation Airstream. Everyone gets a signal here so I told him it's the booster.... but we can't find it.

I assume there is the antenna on top, so take a meter and extra lead wire and measure the continuity betwixt the two ends...measure voltage at the antenna end first, then just the center conductor continuity of the coax. If it measures a couple of ohms, there is no booster, a booster would introduce some weird high reading. Then try connecting a piece of coax directly from antenna to TV, maybe the signal is strong enough w/o a booster.
Good luck

A wire signal tracer would work also, if one is available.

Do you have a input selector/ switch box somewhere in a cabinet?

They found a booster of sorts, in a cabinet....... I had some coax I gave him, he hooked it all up and now has TV....... seems the original owner removed the original connection and booster as shown in the photo above.

Thank you all, there's joy here again, since he has TV.
