THOR #24998
2018 Sprinter Quantum 24km

Hello- I’m a new Thor RV owner. I have had RVs before but was hoping Thor would have a Class C Quantum manual of do’s and don’ts and how to’s specific to my model? The manual I got is very general and does not address things like how the slide works (does it have to be fully extended) or do you have to have the stabilizers down to open the slide, or is there an isolator for the batteries, or does one have to get a controller and inverter for the roof solar connections and where do the wires feed out from the roof inside the coach, etc. Thanks for any published materials you can recommend. Bren

Welcome to our campfire! My advice is to look up the YouTube videos that address your questions.

Welcome to the forum. Bob Denman’s suggestion is what I do sometimes, as all rv manuals are lacking in specific info.

They make the manual to fit all models so they don't have to make a specific one for each motor home model. You tube is a great source of information as well as this forum. You can always ask your questions here and someone will have an answer or can point you in the right direction.
You can also register your motor home with Thor through the owner's page and get the wiring diagrams/plumbing/dimensions... directly from Thor.

Welcome to the forum.

I have a 17 km24 w/39000 miles original owner.
No stabilizers do not need be down. Coach and chassis battery isolater is located under the driver seat is round and has 4 leads 2 of which are 4ga battery cables. House batteries should charge from alternator while traveling. If they aren't and there are no loose cables it is the isolater. Just changed mine last week. One of the cable attachment should signs of the plastic melting. Replaces with a heavier duty one from NAPA. Slide can be open partially, but no recommended. We open it partially to unfold the mattress in rest areas and such. H
