2021 Thor Magnitude BH35 Fog Lights

Hi
I just purchased a used BH35 Magnitude.
The fog lights do not work I’ve tried several combinations of switches just in case. These appear to not be factory ford fog lights as the switch is placed oddly and is near the emergency start switch.

I’ve tried to look for a fuse box but am not sure if it’s in the engine compartment fuse panel or passenger fuse panel. I don’t see any obvious listed fog light fuse.

I also searched the forums and found something similar about the fog lights in a hurricane but I don’t know how similar that would be to mine.

Thanks in advance.

Did you turn your headlights on first?

Is that a serious question?

Yes, many state laws require headlights to be on when fog lights are on. If you don't have the headlights on the fog lights don't work.

Ok, for the record, Yes, I did indeed had the headlights on.

I have never owned a vehicle that allowed you to run the headlights any other way.

Hello sir, if you can see the back of the switch that controls the fog lights you should be able to trace the hotwire for power. Should be 3 wires hooked up to the back of the switch. Power coming in, ground and power going to the foglights. Make sure you have power coming into the switch first and go from there. Let us know what you find out

Not true. Most vehicles require park lights on for fog lights to work, not headlights. Also fog lights will not operate when high beam headlights are in use.

On some Thor models they are not fog lights but rather driving or daytime running lights which only come on when the transmission is shifted into gear. My Challenger was that way.

Passengers cars are not commercial vehicles. Try reading, and comprehending what you posted.

My Jeeps fog lights operate with parking lights only. Picture one with parking lights, picture 2 is with headlights on.

Also, the childish graphics only show what thing and it’s not what you expect.

Picture 1 appears to have DRLs on as well as parking lights.
But we're not talking about passenger cars here, we're talking about motorhomes, which are built on.............

Wait for it..............................

Commercial vehicle chassis.

My Challenger was the same as the Jeep. Ford F series is not commercial until a certain point and motorhomes are not buses, trucks or truck tractors, they are Recreational Vehicles. But since you’re the self proclaimed expert. Have fun.

I have the same issue, and I am thinking about just running the hot side to an ignition activated fuse, and being done with it. When I had the ugly snowplow bumper that blocked the turbo and trans cooler, the fog light worked, but were at such an awful angle they would project about 3 feet. Worthless. The lights are Ford OEM, so they went in the Ford Chrome bumper I put on and now I can't get them to light up. So I would like to know if there is anyone else like you that can help too. Ignore some of the commenters. Anonymity exposes people that aren't really nice when there is no risk.
