How important is it to use some type of levelers? Is it necessary for the slide to operate properly?

On my recently sold T/T I would extend the 5' wide slide in my drive way where it was out of level about 4-5 degrees with no problem. But I wouldn't sleep on anything with that much tilt.

1) You must be level for your refrigerator to function properly. I assume it’s a 110v or propane standard absorption fridge. If you are not level when the fridge is running you could potentially damage the fridge

2) You must be level (per the manufacturer) to extend the slide

So purchase or build some blocks for the least expensive way to get level.
If you have an extra $3-5k, then you can add hydraulic levelers.
