AC inside mount bracket bolts

Need to replace air conditioning unit. Old bolts are bent and cut. Can I use any standard bolts? Or threaded rod? Where can I get a bolt set without buying the whole interior mount kit?

As I recall, new bolts and gasket came with the new A/C.

It depends.
Recently added a second AC unit and replaced the existing one. The new unit came with everything (bolts, gasket, brackets etc). The replacement unit only came with the gasket which was already attached to the unit.
I knew this up front because I intended to re-use the inside parts for the replacement unit.
When ordering a replacement unit, check to see if bolts are included or need to be ordered separately.
Finding a bolt elsewhere may be difficult due the the length and thread type. Threaded rod may work but again, thread type is a factor. Take an existing bolt with you when shopping for replacement hardware.

Go to manufacturers website, Coleman? The diagram of your AC unit will show the parts and where to get them. Might make a difference as to whether you have a normal plenum or a shallow plenum.

I used hex bolts. They are 1/4" x 8" - 20.
Cant find over 6" length at the box stores so I used a coupler and thread locker to extend the bolts. Seems to work well.

Now waiting on a replacement control box. The old one was smashed but the board works.

Thanks.
