awning lights don't work

I have a 2020 Thor Freedom Elite 24 HE.
My daughter and her husband are on a road trip to Yellowstone and have encountered two problems they have been unable to resolve.
1.The awning lights do not work. They have checked all the fuses and breakers and they are all fine. I used it 3 weeks ago and they worked fine. Is there a different fuse in a different location just for the awning? Any suggestions are welcome.
2. When they go to flush the toilet the waste ball remains in open position. They are able to pull it back by hand. Is this an easy fix. It is a Thetford toilet model 42073.Thanks in advance for any help.

On my 2021 FW 28A there is a 2A fuse behind the awning light switch according to the schematics.

Is that the switch that is on the control panel inside the door?

How many switches do you have for the awning lights?

Yes, most likely.

If you turned the patio awning lights off with the Rapid Camp system, you must turn the on with the same system. With the LED on either system will work to turn the lights off. (that is the way my coach works)

They make "Thetford Toilet Seal Lubricant and Conditioner" for a reason".
Thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure if you found the elusive hidden fuse yet. It should be (actually should not be) behind the wall switch. Mine is at the bottom by the steps. Just remove the switch from the wall. Pull out the wiring and there is an inline fuse holder attached. I came across this on my 28Z Chateau and my past Grand Design TT. Neither is shown on the electrical schematics.

About the toilet...

Are they feeling any spring tension on jt: when lifting the pedal by hand?
If they are: it's just sticking a bit.
If not: the spring must have slipped it's mooring...

THIS... and lube it up!

As for the awning light... you have pretty much the same coach as me. Pull the rocker switch (in the step well area) off the wall... as others have stated, there is an inline fuse. Check it and replace with the same rated amperage fuse.

While I do not have the same coach as you, I had a problem with the awning lights in my Thor that was solved by turning them on -- or in my case, off -- with the remote control. Why Thor felt the need to clumsily semi-automate something that can so easily be controlled by a manual switch is beyond me, but when the remote and the manual switch get out of sync with one another, annoying and head-scratching things can happen. Whether this ends up solving your problem or not, I wish you luck in getting to the bottom of your issue.
