Since I winterize / dewinterize on average 4 times per year, I have no time to waste with antifreeze and the subsequent sanitizing required afterwards. Never thought about the cost factor; so I may be saving $40/year by NOT using antifreeze.

FWIW, I do pour antifreeze in P traps
We just got back from Florida a few hours ago and tomorrow I will blow the lines out for the third time this winter. I also use antifreeze in the traps.

Nite quite right. True using the city water inlet to blow-out the lines, but wont clear all the water lines. There are some coaches come with a second blow-out fitting (same as the suck-up fitting) just before the pump which can be used to clear the water pump.

"Some coaches" is not the vast majority of RVs that use an adapter on the city water inlet to blow water out of the lines. Also doesn't apply to the OP's 2017 class c four winds 21 ft RV, nor Happy's Axis.

If you pay more, sometimes you get more features.

On my rig, if I blow air through the system with the control valves set to winterize it blows out the water pump, bypassing the water heater, as well as lines. I usually blow out using city first and then winterize.
