Built in inverter?

Have a 2019 Freedom Elite 26HE. I am confused about the the internal electrical system. When not on shore power and not using the generator should the power outlets work off the cabin battery or just the lights? My question is there an inverter already built in or not?

Yes, you need a class in RV-ing 101

If you want outlets to work for small items under 1000 watts (TV, laptop charger, coffee maker)…you need an inverter.
It converts the 12 volt battery power to 120 volt household current.
That said, you also need an adequate battery bank (generally minimum two 12 volt batteries or the like)

There are many inverter “how-to/DIY” threads on this site, so I suggest you do a SEARCH.

More than likely you do not have an inverter on a smaller Class C.

Your RV did not come with an Inverter from the factory, so no, your outlets, microwave, air conditioner, or electric water heater element will not work unless using the generator or plugged into SP.

The batteries supply power to the lights, furnace, and control power for the fridge, thermostat, and water heater so they can use propane.
