Cheap plastic fuel door latch

Does anyone know of a metal latch to replace the cheap plastic ones that Thor uses on their fuel doors?

I purchased these. They seem overkill on the flimsy plastic door, but I wanted something that would lock.

Flimsy or not does it deter some nonsense or does it encourage a screw drive to create more damage.. perhaps a locking fuel cap is better?

those locks look nice but I dont need locks, just another key to lose. I'd like to find the original ones as both of mine are crapped out, maybe better then the originals.

Those doors are so soft and flexible that no lock will keep people out.

I agree with Glitz, I sent back the locks I had considered putting on and have left the little knob there figuring it wouldnt stop anyone even if I locked it and replaced it with a locking cap that is keyed same for both from amazon..
may only slow em down but ma keep em from breaking the door off ( that happens to be painted )
Happy Labor day Ya'll !
