EEZ TPMS System Repeater

Has anyone with an Omni or Mag XG32 installed the REPEATER? Just wondering where you tapped in for the 12 volt repeater. I was hoping to mount in bedroom somewhere.

I attached mine to usb port in bedroom to see where it work the best. Spliced in usb plug. Found doesn't really mater where I put it. Really helps link up our 10 sensors.

Just need to hunt down a 12 volt source eventually!

Different coach and using TireMinder. I mounted mine to the trailer hitch under the coach and ran the power from the 12 volt input lug on the generator (located in a rear driver's side compartment). Added a switch to turn it off when not in use.

I plugged a 12v transformer into one of the open outlets under and behind the stove top burners. I then fished the wire from above the fridge, down behind it and through a small hole on the floor behind the fake wall under the burners. I was able to squeeze my head in there and see the outlet and see where the wire came down. If you take out the drawer under the burners, there is a small hatch that they installed. Take it out and you may be able to go that way. I took out that bottom face and put another sliding drawer under as well. I can upload some pic tomorrow after I pick up the rig.
My other option was putting the transformer in the cabinet behind the TV in the bedroom. There is an outlet up in the corner where the TV plugs into.

Not sure why I chose the fridge route. Probably because it wasn't simple
I don't even need the repeater. I was picking up a signal from the toad at storage over a mile away without the repeater!

I thought you could only get 5 volts from USB?? The repeater is working no problem plugged into USB?

I can pickup signals far away when not moving. Just seems to drop random tires while traveling. I moved display to kitchen area and works flawlessly. I just can't see it while driving so time for repeater. Thanks for your idea.

I should have mentioned I have the TST, probably some differences in the signal power.
