Extra T handle

Hello. I am a new owner of a 2020 Delano TT and love it. There is a T handle that is in the open position on the opposite side of the camper from the 2 T handles used to dump the grey and black tanks. It is located behind the engine exhaust pipe and appears to be on the black tank drain pipe. What is it for?

I'm not familiar with that model. Did a search and it showed the 24TT, but specs didn't show anything useful. If you don't get an answer from anyone, try contacting Thor cust. serv..

Exclamation

Very common on RVs that have toilets on the curb/passenger side of the cabin.

Close it until you are ready to dump your black tank.

Since that "dump tube" is vulnerable under the belly of the RV: they probably have to add that extra valve as a measure to prevent an "unintentional discharge"...

^^^ as Popfla, Bob D & nosticks said.

Keep all tank valves closed until ready to dump. Our dealer explained it this way: the valve on the opposite side holds the solids up in the black tank. The valve below the black tank should be kept closed to keep solids out of the cross over pipe (warning pun approaching) if left open a log jam is created.

Make connections to dump and open both to dump black tank.

keep it closed. You run over one of the alligators in the road and break that crossover pipe full of poo and you will have one hell of a mess on your hands.
