Flimsy second step on 2021 28z

Anyone else ? Saw A 22 31w and seemed much sturdier it had an extra pc. Of backing riveted to the removable step where the 28z is just a pc of sheet metal.

If it's like our FW 28A, the second step is the access to the battery(ies). You have to make sure that the inside edge, the one that goes on first, is engaged in the slots of the step wall, then latch it down.
