Fresh water tank

Have a 2021 Thor Omni sv34.
How do I drain the fresh water tank?
Cant locate a drain valve.

On my RB34, it's under the bed in the bedroom. There's a big valve inside next to the tank - twist is 90 degrees and it'll all drain under the rig.

On our XG32 it's under the bed also, Red handle next to the water tank, twist it and the tank will empty.

Our model is a sv34.

There is no storage compartment under the bed.
It's the bed that tilts up when slide is in

You have to take the bed apart. You need to remove the matress and the support. You will then see the valve to drain the tank. It is a dumb design. Also a pain to replace the water filter and winterize because you need to take the bed apart.

There is enough PVC pipe sticking out of the floor for the drain under the coach that I attached additional PVC and I installed a drain valve under the coach. I leave the factory valve open and then use the valve that I installed to drain the fresh water tank.

This spring I am going to install a electric valve so I can just flip a switch to drain the fresh water tank.

Outstanding idea! I may do the same. I have to remove a panel in one of the storage bays to get to the valve. And that, of course, means removing about a half ton of stuff to get to that panel. This idea is a real case of working smarter, not harder.

Does your bed not have an access panel under the mattress you just lift up? mine does and has 2 gas struts that hold it up, I don't have to take the mattress off.
Wish the water filter was in a better place though.

Wow what a pain to get to.
What engineer thought of that idea?

Tomorrow I'm adding a pipe under the MH like Judge suggested with a valve

I connected a threaded end so I could screw a cap on to prevent critters and bugs from entering the pipe.

In the Magnitude SV34 you can get to the valve by removing the storage drawer closest to the rear wall, but you need to extend the slide out. I added to the drain pipe below the floor and brought it to the side of the rig, adding a valve. Easy to reach and open. I keep the valve under the bed open and will close it in the winter. I can add photos if you like.

I have the BH 35 and the valve is also under the bed, but seems easily accessible. I will also look to add a valve under the rig. Thanks for the great ideas. Any additional photos would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to install and eectric ball valve and switch in my SV34 later this spring to replace the manual valve I installed under the coach. I purchased one over the winter but I won't be going back north to have access to the coach for another month so I'll be getting to this in late May. I'll post pics once I finish my modifications.
