Front cap insulation

Referencing the Omni/Magnitude has anyone added any thermal insulation to the front cap area? Being in the deep south we have heat and the front cap takes on quite a bit of heat. Closing the front overhead window shade helps some but I'm wondering if there is a cavity between the interior panels and exterior surface that some insulation could be added. Either foam panels or expanding foam injected. I don't want to start interior disassembly if there's no real cavity there.
