Asking for friends who are new owners.

Where is the valve that drains the fresh water tank?

Suggest to them that they register with Thor and the owner's resource and look up plumbing schematics.

The model and the year makes a difference. We own a 2019 Compass (the same as Gemini) 23TR - the slide is out the back.
On our rig, we access the drain through the rear storage. On the left side, there's a very thin panel with a screw at the top and one at the bottom. Remove that panel and you should see the pump. There's a relatively large red plastic valve between the fresh water tank and the pump. Open that and the tank pours water out until drained.
But remember, that's on our 2019 23TR model. Their RV may be different.

In my 2018 Compass the valve is in the compartment with the sewage valves, the pipe is blue and the valve is silver.

On my sprinter 24cr it is under the bed, you need to remove screws on hatch, I replaced those with industrial Velcro so I didn’t have to constantly get drill out.

First thing I do when buying a new unit is spend ALOT Of time unscrewing panels, taking coach “apart” and learning where all the mechanicals are… it might save a lot of pain and frustration one day alongside a road… in the dark…in the rain…in a scary part of town. Lol. You get the idea.

And I have found a lot of sloppy work that I fixed.

Knowledge is power.

Good luck and enjoy the journey…

Thank you, that is where the drain is, behind the pull off panel.

Seeing it's a similar unit, how do you check the oil level on the generator. We can see it from below, but it's not obvious how to get to the oil dip stick and the manual is useless.

It's not a very easy process. You have to crawl under the rig. As you're laying on your back looking up at the generator, on the left side of the generator is a panel with 2 latches. Release the latches; take off the panel and the oil dipstick (a yellow plastic thing) is right there.

I was afraid I'd have to give them the bad news. Thanks for the information!

Same as Gemini 2017, I called the co and they sent me a schematic of the water system. Very helpful. i had the same problem initially.
