HDMI bad cable on Magnitude XG32

My hdmi cable that goes from the cabinets above the theater seats to the dinette tv is not working. Did extensive testing to prove its bad. I purchased a new 50 foot cable but need help identifying where this cable runs and if I should attempt it myself. The new cable works fine draped across the floor. Thanks.

You're gonna have to just follow it to trace out its path. Mine goes from the cabinet above the couch to the TV mounted on the opposite side of the RV via under the RV through the engine compartment, up an A-pillar through more cabinets finally to the TV. I estimate 60 to 70 feet.

I snaked a 12 foot replacement through the Styrofoam insulation between the ceiling panel and roof panel.

Yes it’s brand new. Sent emails to Thor and called their customer service but no response. My dealer isn’t too interested at this point.

Just wanted to update the thread. Thor just called me back and is sending me a wireless hdmi adapter for the dinette tv since trying to get a new cable in place would be difficult. I’m perfectly satisfied with this solution.

That's essentially what I had. The cable end was ripped off from the factory and stuffed up behind the TV. I had several contacts with thor CS and the end result was they have no factory schematics for the cable routing. They also sent me a wireless HDMI kit but because of the other overwhelming problems, I dumped the omni before installing it. I did give the kit to the receiving dealer on trade.

I saw on another thread that there was a male-to-male hdmi connector under the coach. I wonder if that is on mine and maybe came unplugged. I’ll check that when I get back in town. It’s possible they tried connecting two 25 foot cables instead of a single 50 footer.

There is an HDMI connection/coupler underneath the aft dinette booth. Booth seat base screws into the base framing as I recall. It was in the aft left corner of the space as looking forward. I didn't use a cable tracer to see there it went.
