Hibernation is over

Whoop Whoop,
We picked ours up this morning from its winter rest area.
Hooked up the neg cables and everything fired up and ran fine.
Got it home, washer it up and ran the gen for about an hour to clean the cob webs out.
plugged it in and drank a brew with about of hour of tv under the new rv port.
All seems well.
Need to let things charge up to capacity and see how it all shakes out.
Hope to use it in a couple weeks for weekend of rustic Brown Trout and Steel Head fishing to see how things go.

Cool! Heading out soon? We had temps in the 70’s last week (central Indiana) and I was tempted to get started. But we’ve got temps forecast below freezing this week and maybe snow flurries so I guess I’ll wait another week or so. I have to replace my water heater before we can camp though and while it doesn’t look difficult neither is it a minor project.

Glad you had a good hibernation for sure

We just got back from the third trip this late winter spring. Had head wind going and coming but heck it is that time of year.

Traveled quite a few miles on I70 and didn't see the normal amount of early RV's. Apparently they are waiting for warmer weather as the later dates are pretty much booked in the popular areas.

Always nice to start back up and not have any issues. I typically worry a bit about the winterizing due to the Aqua-Hot but do use about 5 gallons of anti freeze to be sure it and the plumbing gets flushed very well.

I think I will hold off flushing the water system until after next week due to lows going the 20's/30's and yes snow on Tuesday.
Bird baths are frozen this morning.
Will flush the system and ice maker next weekend.
Only a couple of add items for this year.

Just got back from our 2nd outing of the year, went to Mill Creek Arkansas with the Teryx in tow for a little trail riding, it rained most every night so we got a little muddy while playing.
