Quantum Worth the extra cost?!!?

Just wondering is the Quantum line worth the extra cost Vs the Chateau? All I can see is the different materials used for the interior. Is there more to it than what I am seeing?

Unless you want the upgraded paint and decor it is not worth paying extra. You can get an identical floor plan and most options in a Four Winds and Freedom Elite (unique to Camping World).

We got our rs26 specifically for the upgraded cabinetry and leather (as well as the led running lights) and love the cozy evenings for the 2 of us...

As much as we'd LIKE to: we really can't tell you how to spend your money...
You should be asking yourself if YOU like it enough, to make it worth the extra cash.

Happy Shopping!

It also depends on just how much cost difference you are looking at. My dealer had the 26ft Freedom Elite and the same Quantum with a price difference of over 25%. For me it was a no brained - I bought the Freedom Elite and had very few issues. I've seen both units advertised for substantially different prices and a few Quantums at near Freedom Elite prices. I'm afraid I don't understand the pricing of individual units. I'm sure it has to do with inventory and dealer stock financing as much as the coach list prices. Think Denman is right - get the best price you can and then just decide which coach and deal speaks to you.

We have the Quantum WS31. What I have found is the finish surfaces are nice, however, I doubt there's much different between it and the others behind the walls. I have found so many loose screws, nuts and bolts, and every one has been the source of a problem. I believe there are a few Standards in the Quantum, but not really sure one would not be better off without them for the lesser cost.

Me too!

We got our 2016 Quantum WS31 with only 1395 miles on it in April. The owners had to sell due to health reasons. They paid around $118,000 for it, then added about every extended warranty they could buy. Also, the exterior glaze or some such snake oil. We flew to S.C. from WA after having it inspected. Let's just say we paid 50k LESS than they did 10 months earlier. It pays to shop around!
And, yes, we like the high end cabinets alot better than the other models.

Let's face it: most of the fun is in the shopping anyway!

Absolutely! If you haven't made a decision on a floor plan yet, take a look at layouts here. https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/specs-guide

Happy for you but it's so sad that the previous owner had to abandon a dream at a big loss for health reasons. Get out there and enjoy your machine while you still can RV people!

Also, that "snake oil" about which you seem so derisive, may have some value to you. I didn't buy it for my coach because it was indeed expensive but if it is the "appearance protection " coverage that CW pushes so hard (and if it transferred to you) it should get you occasional buffing and reapplication by CW when you start to lose your shine - which is easier than doing it yourself - and it will get you replacement fabric (cushions and curtains) if yours become stained or damaged. At least that's what the contract says.

Throw an "i agree" on the pile... sometimes the "snake-oil", WILL keep your slithering friend from making a racket!

My Freedom Elite has a hideaway shower door. It seems pretty flimsy though so maybe the Quantums is upgraded.
