Jerry can, gas can, to get? For four winds ...

Hi all, I have a four winds siesta and I’m wanting to bring along an extra gas can, Jerry can or two for travels through Mexico. Any ideas, suggestions, purchases that you have done to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

Just plan your fuel stops carefully...
Fuel canisters attract thieves...

These are easy to store amd mount.

Two of these easily mount under yout rv.

https://www.amazon.com/DIFU-DENESTUS...0909283&sr=8-3

I have all three on offroad vehicles.(painted black so they don't show you well)

Jerry cans are too cumbersome and do not store well. They're too tall for most rv bins.
And
Buy the harbor freight battery powered transfer pump and back it up by having a jiggle in reserve.

Hi duckface, thanks for taking the time to give me those suggestions. Yet none of the links you posted worked, except the link to your posts and there I didn’t find the posts about the extra gas cans. If you wouldn’t mind helping me with those links, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.

Thanks for that ?advise?
I live in Mexico and am aware of the lack of stations to get gas. Sometimes you just can’t make it either way, so having a backup and being prepared is what I’m trying to achieve, unless you are suggesting I forgo that caution and just drive?

Someone mentioned that one style didn't fit in rv storage bins, I wouldn't recommend storing them inside the rv ANYWHERE, if you don't have suitable outside storage don't haul them.

All his links work to the gas containers on Amazon.

Here they are without the extra crap Amazon likes to add to the URL:

I think a few of the dog owners here have made it abundantly clear how a bin is not even remotely related to the interior of the rv.

Bins are accesssed from outside(unless you take the time to make them a kennel with inside the rv access) and easily modified however they need modified.
Holes drilled, worries quashed.

I agree, DO NOT store or carry fuel in the storage bins, that's just a bomb waiting to go off. And do not carry them inside the coach either, they need to be mounted outside the coach with good ventilation.
