Leveling coach

The leveling of our Quantum WS31 is always a challenge. We really cannot rely on the auto levelers because for some reason, they aren't always accurate. What are some suggestions on places to permanently place bubble levels where you can see them (or your wife) as you level the rig? TIA

I use an app on my phone “Bubble Level “. I never use auto level. I find “Manual” mode easier. When I get into my site I put my phone on the floor and look at the bubble. Adjust as needed.

Thx Jannnda, I will take a look at that app.

Have you set the zero point (calibration) on the leveling system. If not you might read the manual on how to calibrate the leveling system and it should then auto level fine.

After setting the zero point, I never had an issue with Auto Level on the last coach or this coach. I like auto level because the coach can be leveling while I am connecting power and water. On the current rig, after the coach has auto leveled I will manually raise the driver's side a degree or two to compensate for the weight of the dinette/living area slide which is large, deep and heavy.

I mounted a small “T” bubble level on the floor to the left of the drivers seat and I use the manual controls because auto level does not work well. It is completely unobtrusive and works well.

Ea37ts, I have calibrated before and yes it does work. But, I think that if I put it in store for and extended period of time, it looses the calibration. Have you experienced this?

No, I have not had any issues with a leveling system losing its zero point. Not saying it won't happen, but it hasn't happened yet.
