Main breaker?

We have a 2022 Four Winds 31W. While camping there was a lightning strike nearby. Now we do not have any 120v in the coach. The light above the coaches outside 120v connection comes on so I assume I am getting juice from the pedestal. Unfortunately my volt meter died a couple of weeks ago and I have not replaced it yet. If I run the generator most everything 120 works except for a couple of outlets. When I look at the breaker panel the spot where the main should be has a blank cover in it. Is the main located somewhere else? Help!

Never mind, I had a brain fart and now I found it. But for an update, the lightning strike fried the 120v side of the ATS.

Do you use a surge protector?

From the brochure:
- Automatic Transfer Switch with Power Protection
What does that mean...?

Also curious when the OP states "fried the 120v side of the ATS", being a 30A unit, the complete ATS is 120V...

The brochure also says specifications can change without notice.

Power protection varies by the model of ATS. If it’s not one that offers “Full Power Protection” it may not protect against faulty campground wiring or lightning strikes.

I’d assume he means the shore power side given the context….

Sorry for the lightning strike and your problems. You say that on the genny most things work except for a couple of outlets. Did a GTCI also pop during the strike? May I also suggest you purchase a Progressive Industries RV surge protector.

Sorry for not being clear. Yes, it fried the shore power side of the ATS. I only see one reset on one GFCI and that one is above the bathroom sink and it will not reset. I have a surge protector but it is a 50 amp so I need to buy one for 30amp.

Thanks for the update! So your coach is 50A then?

Trip and reset the AC breaker for the GFCI circuit, the GFCI will not reset if it is not getting AC to it.

You could also use a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter to use your existing 50 amp Surge Protector.

As a basic rule, I NEVER plug my RV into ANY power source with my surge protector. I actually rewired so my Southwire is always locked in side my electrical bay. But it is portable. It also has two remotes; so I can always easily see what it is saying or does.

Twice I have found sites with bad wiring and both times they allowed us to move to a different site.

I never thought of that. That would save me the money of buying a new 30 amp surge protector. And yes I had current going to the GFCI via the generator, but it still would not reset.
