Question OUTLAW coach windows ???

Hi Everyone !

We have a 2018 OUTLAW 29J class C toy hauler that has the new fangled roll out windows in the living areas. Can those be left open while traveling down the highway without damage like the older slide windows could ?

Danke !

BP

We had the "H" model.,,
We never tried leaving them open at speed. You can get. Lots of airflow from the roof vent.

Bob, Thanks for the speedy reply ! You are like the unofficial mayor on here ! We had the H before this one but we wanted windows on the pass side. It was way too dark in there. Plus the wife likes the kitchen on the pass side so she can look out and speak out . Also our four putty tats were upset cause they couldn't look out and see us.

Anyone else leave their new fangled roll out windows open whilst driving on the xpressway ?

Danke !

BP

I wouldn't try rolling down the road with those windows open. To great of a chance of the wind ripping the windows out.

Also, my owners manual says to keep the windows closed when the engine or generator are running to keep exhaust gases from entering the living area. I went back and looked at my old Thor Class A, and C owner's manual and it contains the same statement in big bold print in a caution or warning statement.

My owners manual also has an entry on the "Before Leaving the Campsite" checklist that reads "Close windows and latch blinds"

. I'm certainly not an official spokesperson in here: I'm more like a cheerleader with bad legs, and worse hair!
