Freedom HF Inverter/Charger

We had to have a new inverter in our 2017 Thor Quantum. Do we leave it on all the time or only when we don’t have shore power? Installed by Camping World.

I have a Xantrex Freedom Xi in my coach. The inverter comes on when ever there is shore power or generator power on the coach and cannot be turned off. If there is no 120 volt power on the coach, the on/off switch works normally.

And Camping World told you what? Did you ask them?

Thanks! We only use our motor home three or four times a year. We normally store it without power and turn off the inverter. We use the store button. About every month or so we’ll plug it in and push the use button to the charge the batteries. We also just had new batteries installed. What do you recommend?

Also to answer another question, because of the virus, when we picked the MH up from camping world, we didn’t see anyone except the “cashier”. Might call them next week to see what they recommend about the inverter.
