lug nut size on Magnitude SV34 21mm?

Anyone happen to know? I think its a 21mm socket but I cant check because its at the dealer. I imagine they have to be the same across all the magnitudes... thx!

Yes, my XG32 uses a 21 mm socket for the lugs (19.5 inch wheels with 10 lugs).

Either one will work. I usually use thin wall sockets on lug nuts (to fit in the slots provided on most car wheels) but that is not necessary for these wheels. You can use regular pneumatic sockets if you are using an air gun.

Mine's a deep well impact that's in the tool box. I brought it along with the torque wrench since I had the rear wheels off putting on the Crossfire and needed a retorque this trip. At 165 ft.lbs tq something substantial needed.

Yes, I always carry a torque wrench with my tools. I wont change my tires on the road if something happens (that is why I have roadside assistance) but I will check the lug nuts after someone does change them and then again after about 100 miles of driving. Good practice in my opinion.

Chucker, interesting that your Omni uses 165 Lbs, my Magnitude is 150 Lbs., at least that is what my owners manual says for 19.5 inch wheels.

I didn't have access to my owner's manual so used a Ford specifications site about the 550.

You may want to check, the 165 Lbs setting may be for steel wheels. Mine, and probably yours are aluminum. Also, the type of lug base (flat or cone) will affect the amount of torque needed.

I have owned many F550 trucks, all had flat lugs with built on washers

150 pounds was the standard for a lot of years

Has that changed regarding the lugs?

I'll recheck the torque value I found.

Mine is 165 per 2019 (thor 2020 xg32), Ford F550 superduty manual from the Thor's owner resource site. Page 417 FYI, for teh M14x1.5 bolt.
The inner dual wheels are steel, the rest aluminium.

I wonder what changed between 2019 and 2020 F-550? I went back and looked at both the paper copy and on line copy of the owners manual (page 428) says 150 FLbs. Looks like the same size bolt.

Bolt size
M14 x 1.5 150 lb.ft (204 Nm)

I used 165 as we loaded heavall the time and ran 16 ply tires

You sure won't shear the bolts with the higher torque
