Don’t always believe what USPS shows in the informed delivery email!! It is actually a suggested email of what to expect in your mailbox, not that it is being delivered on that day! I have been waiting almost a year and a half for five peices of mail, and when you call USPS about it they will tell you just because you received the email doesn’t mean you’ll get the mail shown!

Right it says coming soon, but I have always received mine in a few days. It also lets you report missing mail on the website

Recall notices are sent to consumers based on motor vehicle records, notices I have received in the past state if you no longer own vehicle forward to the new owner if known! Or you have to check the box that say no longer own vechile and return it!
The vehicle manufacturers eventually catch up to current owners because they are required to do so!

Trust me I’ve reported it a dozen times and get the same answer everytime! Two of the peices involve rebate cards in the amount of $400 and the issuing company won’t replace them until I can prove I didn’t receive them. That the only reason why I keep contacting Usps about it! But there’s not much you can expect from a government agency now is there??

I sent a cpap cleaner to Bellevue Iowa next door and it went to Iowa then back to Illinois then back to Iowa, then it went way down south in Iowa. I called Bellevue post office and they tracked it and got it back the next day. No one can trust the post office anymore

That's my history with "informed delivery". But since I'm not home that means it should be in the pile I have waiting on me when I get back. I'm not defending USPS or any governmental agency, but in some areas I'd fault thieves for not delivered mail.

If I responded to every piece of mail about vehicles that I no longer own I'd have to hire a secretary. I still get mail about an Escort I sold 10 years ago. As far as this omni, I got a call from the new owner asking me if I had any issues with it. Wish he'd called a week earlier and I might have saved him a ton of problems. I did tell him about the potential propane recall but that thor denied my former omni by VIN was affected.

My motorhome said there were 2 recalls and put my VIN in and it said I didn't have any. I get a lot of rebates and anyone could take them. Menards would write rebate right on the card anyone could take it

We have a 2019 Windsport 34P and just got a recall notice about the the front cabinets placed over the cab area. In the recall Thor said they found the cabinet installed incorrectly and could potentially fall down. In October, 2020 I posted on the forum about this problem and the cabinet almost came down on our heads while driving. I had to use a rope to temporarily secure it to the front bunkbed until I could get home. So ... this was a post in 2020 and Thor did not catch this on the site. I assumed they would monitor this site as a feedback loop.

Thor monitors but whether they respond or do anything depends on how embarrassing or detailed a complaint is. Shortly after I got the omni I noticed the front bumper was loose. Upon investigation under it on a creeper I saw that the left mounting machine screws were missing completely and the bumper was mounted off center to the ford chassis. I took several pictures and posted here about it with the pictures. I got several comments and a PM from a thor rep asking for more info and suggesting taking it to the dealer. I ended up fixing it myself before any further damage was done to it. So a casual, in their opinion, comment or complaint may not get a response. I don't recall having seen anyone comment here about thor expressing concerns about the front caps separating.

Did you report it to NHTSA as is usually directed in the owners manual?

This forum is not a communication channel with Thor.

Maybe I am thinking to logically but my original loyalty was to warn fellow owners of a potential danger. If Thor wants to limit their liability they should watch for results with customers testing equipment out in the field. I don't need to report to NHTSA and do Thor's job for them. I am curious how much did these 2 issues wind up costing them.

Reporting to the NHTSA is the only way for recalls to happen, If no one reports it lets all the RV manufactures of the hook for safety problems, unless someone gets killed or severely injured

Follow up

There were 2 separate pieces of mail from thor in the pile that the USPS had collected and held for me. One was the recall for the propane line. I figured that eventually the entire omni/magnitude line would get included since that is no factory QA for hose routing apparently. I told the receiving dealer about the issue when I traded it in so not my problem. The other was a customer satisfaction survey which I haven't filled out yet. Figure they don't really want to know what I think.

I checked my system tonight, turned on the gas, opened the outside valve. No leaks, or cracks detected. I'm not on the recall list, but an inspection can't hurt. 2021 ACE

My 2021 Magnitude is subject to the propane line recall. The nearest Thor dealer is at least a two hour drive and that’s for one that doesn’t sell the Magnitude.
The dealer said they could do it in one trip if I sent them photos of the rear leaf spring rubbing against the hose. Which it is. It’s about halfway through the rubber to making a hole in the line.
Then I get a call from the dealer saying the leaf spring rubbing against the hose is not part of the recall.
It might be best to find a Thor dealer who sells the Magnitude or one who gives a shi-.
