Recall notice

I'm on a trip in my reliable and good quality motorhome, no it's not a thor, and the USPS sent an email on "informed delivery" of a thor safety recall notice. I'm not home to get it and it doesn't affect me obviously but curious if this is another example of fine thor build or did the propane one get expanded because the numbers of affected RVs is significantly larger than thor admitted to?

I think it was last week that our recall notice arrived. We initiated getting it repaired working with Thor last Dec and the actual work was done early March.
Seems like a coordination of information systems might be yet another opportunity for Thor to consider

So you have not idea if it's Thor issue or Thor notifying you of a Ford or Chevy recall. You actually have no worthwhile information. Just a reason to complain.
I have a 2019 Thor Class C and have had only one issue and taken care.

I don't have any complaint I just find it amusing that thor can't get it's act together open something as simple as a NTSB safety recall. And also people defending Thors actions and ineptitude in this. I don't have a thor product nor will I ever again. I found out about the letter by receiving an email from USPS with their Informed Delivery program that shows a picture of mail being received. Since I'm happily traveling in my SOB my mail is being held. Today something else from thor arrived but nothing about a recall on the envelope. Maybe it's a survey of my ownership experience.

I got the Propane Line Routing Issue Recall for my 2020 Magnitude SV34 last week.

I’m fairly certain mine is fixed. I saw the line close to the leaf springs while under my coach doing some work. I pointed it out to the Factory Service Center tech when Inwas having my front cap attachment fixed.

I’m going to doinle check it when I get back north next month.

I received the recall notice last week as well for our 21 SV34 - (built August 2020) - a visual inspection shows the line is clear of the leaf spring.

Maybe it's a recall notice...maybe it's a good riddance letter...what difference does it make since you no longer own it? Life is too short to let the little things get your goat.

No I figured they could read since they monitor this forum. I treat his like the Sirius spam I get. I might get around to telling them so they can forward appropriate things to the new owner.

You didn't read the previous reply. It doesn't get my goat it amuses me as do some responses here. The main reason I hand around is many systems are common to all RVs and I feel I can be helpful to issues relating to the omni and it's systems. Example, awning adjustments.

Well I know they monitor because I was contacted in reference to an early post I made about the bumper not being attached. Guess they know who I am at least by user name because earlier today I got PM asking for the last 8 of the VIN so they could let thor know.

Thor definitely monitors this forum and others related to their product lines regularly. I was told that by several employees during a factory service visit and tour.

I found this, Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022 ACE, Freedom Traveler, Hurricane, and Windsport motorhomes. Ladders were installed on the wrong side of the motorhome during production and potentially not reinforced to the backers on the rear caps. If a person were to use the incorrectly installed ladder, it would have the potential to break off the motorhome. This could lead to property damage and/or personal injury.

Remedy
Dealers will inspect the location of the ladder, and reinforce or relocate it as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 10, 2022. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC’s number for this recall is RC000255.

Recall notice

I love my Class C, 2012 Thor Freedom Elite 21C. I had it for almost 7 years and we have a great relationship, I treat her well and She treats me well. So enjoy each camping season.
