Refrigerator inside & outside does not work using the inverter

Our inverter works the tv, stove top and lights. It does not work refrigerator inside or out. We have checked breakers and fuses. Any suggestions?

Maybe you can help us. We have power to the tv and stove top using the inverter but the refrigerator will not run, inside or outside refrigerator. Any suggestions? We have ran out of things to try..

Yeah - post your Year/Make/Model RV when you ask a question so we have some context.

And you only need to post the question once in one place (read the Forum's community rules at the bottom of each page).

Is this RV new to you?
Has this ever worked off the inverter?
Have you checked output breakers on the inverter?
Do they work on SP?

Yes, new.
Yes, worked in the past.
Yes, put new batteries in.
Yes, works with SP & generator

Generally, the fridge(s), TVs and a few outlets are on the inverter supplied circuit. Sometimes, a larger inverter will have two circuits: Fridges on one and TVs/Outlets on the other.

The fact that your induction stovetop runs off the inverter is a big red flag.

Otherwise I'd say you have a bad wiring connection in one of your outlets if the fridges also did not work on SP/Generator. I don't think there is any easy answer here. I think you need someone with electrical knowledge and ability to use a multimeter AND the electrical diagrams for your RV to help you troubleshoot this issue.

Hello and sorry for your issues. The easiest thing to check for first is power at the receptacle for the frig. Find the outlet and if you don't have a volt meter find something else to plug into this outlet and see if it works. Must be something other than a hair dryer. LOL Most inverters have fuses on the outside of the unit that either need to be replaced if burn't out or need to be reset if they are breaker type. ALso, could be a GFCI problem and if thats the case then there will be multiple outlets with no power while the inverter is running. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

Sounds to me like the fridge and stove top are plugged into the wrong outlets. Probably behind a drawer in the area. My outside TV and stove top were reversed from the factory. Easy fix though. Also, my mid TV and fireplace were reversed. Fireplace and stove top should not work on inverter.

Question, did your problem start after replacing the batteries?
