Thanks for all the help, I tried*a hose with a shorter connection*, and got the door closed. So maybe an elbow fitting would work for her........Bruce

Another example of a design by a non camping engineer.

I think they sit in windowless rooms, and have been trained to never look up...

Mine, on a SD24 Appears identical to yours, and I use a 45° drop, which routes beneath the compartment door. If the net on your sewer pipe where the band that fittings attach is too long, you could shorten that neck to get more clearance from the door.

I have the 28Z model and it has a long door with top hinges. that said, there is no way of holding it up since the slide is also right above it. I can get at the discharge but would be nice not having to reach under for the handles. Only thing I can think of is a stick to hold it up. just one more thing to leave behind

The issue is not with a Four Winds or Chateau.

Call Thor in Wakarusa and tell them they once again win the award for "Just Plain Old Stupid Design". Ask them to remedy your issue.

The issue is with a Thor Delano and not with a Chateau or Four Winds so how your doors open has no bearing on the OPs question.
Same thing applies to all the posts about modifications to the doors on an Axis/Vegas, they have no bearing on the model coach having the problems.

I have a 2021 Thor Delano RW24 with the sewer hose/wet bay door interference. Spent a couple of weeks going back and forth with Thor via e mail. Final answer -designed that way, nothing we can do. Took it to Augusta, GA Camping World and asked for an estimate to modify it, move it maybe 2” inboard so I can get a 90 on it? “Nothing we can do”. Actually suggested today that I take it to a body shop to get a hole cut in the bay door.! I see people on here who claim this was addressed under warranty. Anyone have a warranty work order # or contact at Thor they are willing to share?

Ahem….Wearing a “Bubba for President” T-shirt with a “NASCAR” ball cap backwards while using your crayons to draw pictures of motorhomes doesn’t really make one an engineer does it?
