Is sewer hose storage tube built in Thor 28Z

I sold my class A motorhome and just bought a Chateau 28Z but have not picked it up yet. In my Class A the sewer hose stored right below the dump valves. I did not see an area in the Chateau to store hose.
Do you put it in the bumper?

Yes. Bumper is hollow and hose fits nicely. There are better, more secure caps available than the factory ones.

Thanks! I didn't know if there is a cross tube there by the outlets...

Mine has the hollow bumper, but Rhino hose fittings did not fit in there!

Others are correct on the bumper. That said, the 28z has a huge basement. I keep our sewer hoses (2 x 10') and accessories in a large covered bin in the basement. Easier than stuffing into the bumper for me. I fresh-water rinse (dedicated hose) every use and usually disinfect with a bleach solution in the bin about every 3-4 trips. No smells whatsoever in the bin or basement.

Thanks all. I thought about a bin and may go that way. I just bought one of those Valterra sewer solution kits. I have not used it so I am not sure if it is slower than the 3" hose.

I use the basement bin below the back door. I am pretty meticulous about cleaning the hose and sanitizing the bin every now and then is a great idea! Thanks!

My fittings do not fit into the bumper. I installed a 5" PVC post sleeve right behind the stabilizers. Drilled a hole through on one end and passed a 6" eye bolt through and wrapped a short bungee (the type with a ball on one end) to hold the eye bolt in position. Works great.

We are going to try something similar on our 28Z. Thanks for the idea.

I found that I had to take a 3# hand sledge and bang out the walls on the bumper a tad to get my hose to fit. Seems like i the cutting process of the bumper, it bends the walls in a bit.

A cap is prettier but this is more practical.

Thanks for the picture. I really don't like storing the slinky inside the RV or in the bumper. Once we get her home from her yearly physical, I'm to to get out the creeper and the steel tape.
