Stove and grill

I have a 2020 Thor Magnitude BB35. Does anyone know of a grill and stove that will work properly when connected to the on board propane take. Coleman stoves and bbq grills will not work. Low pressure vs. high pressure? I’d appreciate any advice on what to purchase that works. Thanks!

You need to find a grille that will work with a low pressure source of propane.
(Meaning that it does NOT have a regulator...) Propanegear.com sells conversion kits for grilles that do have regulators. I bought a kit for my Blackstone griddles, and it,works great.

Converted Weber Q or a Blackstone griddle are a couple of the most common. The Coleman Road Trip should also work if converted to low pressure quick connect

I got a NextGrill from Costco and changed out the regulator for a straight hose with a quick connect that hooks into the RV.

Same here... except from Sam's Club. Since my MH quick connect is low pressure, I removed the grill's hose and regulator (not needed). I bought a 3/8" to 1/4" brass adapter which threaded onto the grill fitting, and 20' of 1/4" propane hose with quick connect ends. Works great.

That is pretty much the same process to convert a Weber Q.

You can adapt just about any propane grill. The key is finding the correct adapter size for the quick connect. Even my Weber grill on my deck uses a 3/8" threaded fitting. But some specialty grills use a 1/4" threaded fitting.

If your motorhome propane grill quick connect is low pressure (most are) you won't need the grill's regulator... which is removed anyway to install the adapter.

Usually (but not always) a high pressure fitting will be close to and integrated into the tank plumbing (extended stay adapter).

No you cannot cook anything on a blackstone. You cannot smoke a pork butt or a brisket.

X3 for a Blackstone! It’s the only grill we carry anymore. If it can’t do it we don’t need it.

X4 for Blackstone and a Weber Q1200. Have them both setup to run off onboard propane or can quickly switch to 1 pound bottles. Attachment 31419Click image for larger version

Stove and Grill

I had a quick disconnect gas line run from my propane to in front of the rear wheels on my Thor Palazzo. I know use a Y connector and connect my Blackstone Tailgater and Coleman stove with no issues.

We have a Blackstone and Weber Q2200 in the rig. The DW has fallen in love with the many things I cook on the Traeger Ironwood and has decided that I need to get a Traeger Ranger for our Texas trip this winter. That Traeger reverse seared RibEye and smoked stuffed Jalapeño poppers sealed the deal.
