[QUOTE=EA37TS;277013]No. The build will determine how the vehicle is operated and for things like delivery vans, service vans and box trucks many will never see the highway mileage, conditions or speeds to which a motorhome is subjected.

If you want an upgraded chassis on a motorhome then go to one of the custom manufacturers and pay their price or buy a motorhome that is built on a chassis designed for the motorhome industry. Many of the latter, however, are on a Freightliner chassis and you pay more just because it is a diesel or Super C on the S2RV chassis.

As a note, not all consumer think the handling of a Class C or Class A is intolerable.

I agree, my 30 ft class A handles like a truck and I’ve pretty much just gotten used to it. It’s not like a modern car but it has its endearing qualities. I added a steering stabilizer and did the CHF and I don’t plan to do anything else.

Thank you for answering. This is the information I’m looking for to help with our decision. Much appreciated.

Sway Bar - Broken end link

I installed Helwig sway bars in Fall-2018 for my E450

On the fronts it was suggested that I use Moog end links as they are more robust than the Ford OEM end links on the whimpy OEM sway bar.

This week, one of the Moog end links broke.
At first I would hear an inconsistent clunk clunk clunk at slow speeds
I thought it might be a Ball Joint

After calling around to shops for phone opinions, I was able to diagnose

I ordered a replacement that will arrive this weekend, and I can easily repair.

Even though my rig is still under Ford warranty, I doubt they would warrant this repair because it’s not a Ford end link.

Good news
The Moog end link is solid, is fine, did not break

I just needed to re-tighten everything again up front
And so the noise I was hearing was just a slightly loosened fitting

All good now...

My OEM swaybar end links have held up fine for over 50K miles now. i did have one of the front end links come loose once, so it's a good idea to check the tightness of the attaching nuts, but otherwise they've been fine so far.
