Thor Inception, just purchased anyone else ?

Good morning everyone,
My wife and I just got a new Inception. I was wondering if anyone else on here has one. We are changing over from a Itasca class A.
I look forward to following everyone on here and learning more about the Thor family.

Happy travels all.
James

First weekend out

Thanks for the warm welcoming messaged. This is the first weekend out. Staying local at a really nice camp ground. No issues this far. A few ants 🐜 but nothing more. Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend as well.

Hi, we just purchased a Thor Magnitude xg32. Had a Tiffen wayfarer. Very happy with so far. Only problem, we boondock and was told no problem with residential fridg,ha have run our generator constant. We were planning on installing additional solar but took off for the coast fishing. We'll, needless to say no power. Live and learn even at our age.😁

How long does the fridge run off the inverter

We almost got the Magnitude, we decided on the Inception for the interior layout. Yes, I want to start doing more boondocking as well. I would greatly like to increase the Solar as well. I was nervous getting a new model in it’s first year of production. The only issue we had was the water heater. All is running smoothly thus far. Be safe everyone..😊

Something's weird with your battery or charger. We have no issue with boondocking on ours for a few days (Magnitude RB34 here). We usually turn the outside fridge off and don't run the fans all the time.

Is your inverter going off from low volts or is the generator auto on set too low?

What floor plan did you get? We looked at the bunkhouse model and really liked it but don't want to give up our bath and a half.

We're looking at a 2023 Pasadena. Can't find an Inception anywhere. Can someone maybe summarize the differences between the two models? They look pretty close to identical to me!

Interior and exterior colors.

Biggest difference is the dealers that sell them.

Yeah, that's about the only difference I could see, too. Thanks!

Just listed my 2022 38MX on RV Trader. It’s been an awesome machine but it’s time to head back home to FL.

Only 2,200 miles on it and a ton of upgrades!

$210,000!

We’ve loved ours. It’s been a great way for us to stay out west over the past year. No real issues to speak of. We did a lot of upgrades to cooling and heating systems but besides that, all good after 12 months!!

Any issue we just purchased a 2023 and it’s. Dry very drafty and so noisy you have to yell

Dry is usually a good thing on any RV.

Drafty and noisy is usually standard RV and MH stuff.

Yeah supposed to say very very drafty. But drafty to the point that I had to run the furnace and heat pump just to keep it warm enough for no one to freeze while going down the road…. It was bad even with the cab heater running it was freezing.

Interesting. Our S2RV chassis is relatively quiet until the cooling fans kick into high when pulling hills. Over all it is half as noisy as our prior Challenger and we can hold a normal conversation even when the radio is on.
