There are two HUGE axis/Vegas threads already in motion.
Most mods go across platform without mod to the mod, so an axis/vegas only request REALLY narrows your ability to do mods.
The thread in my signature is a good place to start.
https://www.thorforums.com/forums/f2...n-18996-3.html
Someone will post you a link to thebother thread.

Did you even look at the two other threads?
There is also a 3rd with 80,000ish views.

Front bumper hitch receiver on Axis/Vegas
I'm interested to install a front hitch receiver on my Vegas. Has anyone done it?

It's addressed in all three threads
And
It's just an e450 thing so it's in many e450 threads
Because
Most mods are cross platform.
An alternative is post 142 in my signature thread.

Thanks for pointing to post 142. I'm looking for a hitch for E350 chasses for 2016 Vegas. I've seen someone has done it in this forum but I was hopping to get more details on how to install one. There is no front bumper on Vegas - it's all part of front face fiberglass.

Axis and Vegas are the same coach: Just a slightly different fascia but identical otherwise.
So anything you see for Axis will work for Vegas.

So, I see you have installed one on your axis. Is there a difference between 350 and 450 chassis?

No difference that would involve anything but following the directions which come with the front hitch you buy on etrailer.com

the thing is that Vegas Engine hood opens downward. Would the hitch be installed under. Yours appears to be over the front bumper rail.
there is picture here on post 13: https://www.thorforums.com/forums/f1...axis-4175.html

You need to read the threads supplied to you.
A string of posts within addresses how to modify your hood to be removable instead of on hinges.
But
The chances of you needing to open your hood while something unloadable is attached to that hitch is in the 1:100,000 range.

I guess Thor changed that on later models, but a 2016 opens downwards.

I noticed there is a metal plate in front of windshield fluid reservoir that appears to be strong enough to attach a plate mounted receiver. do you think something like this would work? here is amazon link for the product: https://www.amazon.com/Quick-Product...6Y1CT85P&psc=1

Vegas/Axis coach Batteries
Upgrading batteries to Lithium??? I hear that lithium batteries have a life of use anywhere between 2 and 5 thousand cycles compare to lead-acid batteries, and they still provide 80% of rated capacity after 2,000 cycles. Worth it?

2016 Thor Vegas spark plugs
I have a 2016 Thor Vegas 25.2. Purchased new.
Last Dec on the highway, check engine light came on , pulled off and I plugged my code reader in. Showed P301.
I continued to drive a few hundred miles more, only shuttered at idle. That night I changed # 1 coil. Fixed the problem. In September. Same thing only P308. So I changed #8 coil. The RV has 26k on it right now. This morning I replaced the old 8 coils and all 10 spark plugs. Fairly easy to do from inside after doghouse cover removed. But I did change #6. ( front drivers side) from the outside. Just had to remove eng filter assembly.
Hope this helps anyone that needs to tackle the job.
Coils were $36 a piece - Motorcraft

Vegas/Axis doghouse insulation
Cabin engine cover is plastic and has literally no insulation. It radiates the engine heat and noise inside the cabin. If you insulate it with car sound deadening and heat insulation closed cell foam, It will make a big difference blocking more then 90% of the heat and engine sound. It's a must have upgrade!
