Thor Rize Solar Panel NHTSA Recall

Thor came out with a Recall on Thor Rize / Scope solar panels - Safety Recall: 23v-759 December 2023.

Has anyone learned exactly what is the problem and how it should be fixed? Is this a big problem?

Has anyone receive a letter from TMC yet? I have not and they indicate that they started to be sent out Jan 9th.

Yes, I did. It's the same documents and information that I already have.

I received the TMC letter last week. The letter is a bit confusing. It says the "solar panel mounts may fracture". Another place it says dealer to "repair/replace your solar panel". I did call Thor and was informed that the washers where the four mounts are connected to the solar panel frame may loosen, causing vibration that fractures the solar panel frame. The NHTSA Recall is 23v-759. I also checked my VIN on the NHTSA website and no recalls were listed. Thor however said I had three recalls - awning, generator, solar panel for my Rize. However, the awning and generator recalls have been dealer repaired. So I'll send the paperwork to Thor on those two repairs.
