2022 Thor Sanctuary / Tranquility 19P Tour with my first set of modifications

In this video I tour my NEW 2022 Thor Sanctuary 19P and also show off my first set of modification (Owl van tire carrier, Cockpit Laguna table, Counter extension, and Stove top cover that doubles as more counter space. Let me know what you think as most of these are just prototypes.

Thank you for the complement as it truly means a lot! My first trip will be someplace close to home just in case I am missing something or I need to modify/fix something. Right now I am just getting things ready as there are still a few more items that need to be modify before I can truly enjoy the RV. I want to be able to work / camp comfortable from anywhere.
Also, I need to organize and purchase all the starting equipment and place them in the garage area so that they fit and are easily accessed. I have purchased everything, just need to find the right organization stuff.

Very cool. Do you have a link to the hinges you used for the stove cover? I see the link in the video for the table hinges.

https://amzn.to/3nnxjxz -

here is a link to the hinges I used to attached the stovetop cover to the counter. However it is important to note that this hinge need to be flatten some to work as shown in the video so buy a couple extras.

I also bought some black paint and painted the black to match the cover.

Let me know if you need any help.

RSKDSK, what is your opinion on the driving characteristics of the Sprinter platform compared to the problems you were seeing with the handling of the Ram ProMaster van?

Does the Sprinter exhibit any of the same 'wandering' issues on the highway and do you plan any modifications to address driving or handling?

Thanks in advance.

The difference is night and day. The Mercedes is as smooth at 80mph as it is at 60 mph while the RAM starts to wander after 65mph and can not sustain 80 mph without constant down shifting. I understand that by changing the suspension setup in the RAM you can stop the wondering and the new RAMs will come with the new 9 speed transmission so that may help with the highway speed issue.
BTW ... I do not normally drive at 80 MPH, but I do like traveling at highway speeds on interstates and in some states 80-85 MPH is the limit.

Thanks for the insights. I'm awaiting delivery of a 19P in late November and had just a normal test drive of the Sprinter van prior to committing to the unit. That drive was great, but there's nothing like plenty of actual miles on the road to confirm the comfort and handling of the van. Keep the informative videos coming!

My next modification video should be ready this weekend. I have another couple great must see upgrades that I am sure you will want for your 19P and they are all relatively easy to do.
I am also looking into a really cool way of significantly increasing the fresh water capacity but that is going to take a bit more time as I have to experiment with a few things to make sure they work.
