Gemini Alignment

Hello to everyone, took my 2017 23 TR Gemini to a truck Alignment shop to
get it set & they used the spec for a transit connect they said the specs are the same ??????
any thoughts

Yes your 23 TR is built on the Ford Transit chassis and thus those would be the specs they would use for an alignment.

Hmm yeah that is the smaller body built up from the Focus platform.

Perhaps they misspoke--does it drive ok?

Yeah, the alignment should be checked immediately after you get all your typical gear loaded onboard. Thor will not usually help, if you discover your alignment is out of specs. Mine cost me 2 new tires plus the alignment fee @ less than 4000 miles. Thor was MIA.

Who does alignments? Dealership? Ford? Someplace that does truck tires?

In my case it would be a Vegas.

Not exactly sure how big your RV is. A class A usually has to go to a truck center. The Ford truck center near me charges $175 for an alignment. You can call around and ask about your RV and its length to get estimates. Perhaps your nearest RV center would recommend a place to check.

Ok, thanks. I'm making a list of todos and likely todos for when my Vegas comes in. I'll start tracking down someplace like that, since based on what I've read, it's going to be a worthwhile investment.

About what was the charge? I was thinking of a Good year truck center since I saw a class c parked there last week.

From what I remember (it was 2014) it was around $130 or so. They even had me drive the unit up on the alignment rack and I sat in it while the guy did the alignment.

I just picked up my 2017 Gemini 2months ago and haven't been on a road trip yet did you find out you needed the alignment on your new Gemini?
Please keep me posted this is my first RV and I'm learning a lot.
