Loose bolts/ 4th camping trip

Our forth camping trip in the Compass went well, I'm even starting to understand the thermostat control.
My weekly fly day benefited from the awning once again but than I did noticed some of the bolts holding the awning were not tightened or has gotten loose. This I have tightened down, I suggest you check yours.
Photo shows the air I saw between the bolt and the mount.
Also the Compass at it's weekly job.

LED transformer location (bedroom)

LED over the bed started playing games on me. Suspect a defective transfo. Anyone has an idea where to find the LED transfo for that particular light band? If not, my guess is the compartiment in the upper cabinet, left side of the house. Asking before I start dismantling the panel.

PupPup,

Nothing to do with the Compass but with your interest in RC thought you might like seeing the RC Club in my neck of the woods. They have their own "airport".

What does "professionally involved" with the use of hobby aircraft mean?

Hello again Compass and Gemini owners.
Getting ready for our 5th outing in the Compass from Virginia to Ohio.
We finally got our appointment for our warranty work to be done after this trip.

Meanwhile, I saw somewhere on here about some kind of gutter something or other for the drainage of the AC. I cant find it now. Anyone know what I'm talking about can point me in the right direction?

Also Good journey on your trip MOUNTIANSAM. Can't wait to hear about it.

AC condensation

AC condensation was producing streaking on the side and was making our MH look old fast. I found a 3/4"threaded x 1/2" tube 90 degree lawn sprinkler fitting at Lowe's. I trimmed the 3/4" end to fit under the AC condensate drain. Think of your grandfathers pipe bowl. Ran a 4' section of irrigation tubing that reached the rear corner of the roof. There is a drain on each side of the unit. Temporarily taped it to the roof and it's still working great.

I have been very impressed with our Sumo Springs so far. A few highway runs and windy conditions the S S’s have felt quite solid. We are leaving tomorrow for a three week trip so will know more tomorrow afternoon. First leg of the trip is Yuba City CA to Wennimucca NV.

I haven't been able to find this company on line - could you provide the web address for them, please. That skylight is the biggest heat grabber on my rig!
I made my own side window covers before I saw your post, just used that reflective bubble wrap stuff you get in a home improvement store in the HVAC area. they work well, but my suction cups could be better.
Anyone every pick up a rock hit in the skylight? We did. Didn't think it would be possible.

Ford Chassis

Our 2017 Gemini has the Ford Chassis with the 3.2 Diesel. A few times it has refused to start (always in busy parking areas). The engine code says it is the crank position sensor. A crawl underneath and wiggling the wires makes it start - it will never do it at the Ford repair shop. Anyone else encounter the problem? What was the fix? New sensor, connector, wire or something else??
Like the drive train anyway - just back from a 6,500 trip with 17.2 mpg - just have to get this glitch fixed!

Do you think that sensor may be the sensor for the "park" position. I remember in years past having to "hold the column shifter" heavy in the "park" position on some cars as the sensor was loose, or something like that, to make it turn over. It could be some type of similar mounted sensor near the shifter. Just a guess.

Unhappy Smelly Bathroom Area

Hi Compass and Gemini Folk-

We have camped only one night since getting our Compass 24TF and toilet use was "modest". We were using RV toilet paper. We have had the unit parked in the driveway while we get things loaded etc. - fans are running. To our dismay the bathroom is smelling quite ripe. We have added water to the Black Water tank and have added some blue deodorizer to the tank with even more water but the smell persists. We want to get this issue solved before taking it to the storage park where it may sit in the sun without fans running at all.
Any suggestions on a way to fix this? Recommendations for anti smell products- (especially available in Canada) would be appreciated too!

Thanks!
Gera in Victoria BC

I’m not sure but I would add some water to the bathroom sink. At least enough to fill the p trap. The sink probably drains into the black tank. Turn on the exhaust and see if that gets rid of the smell.

Smelly bathroom area....

Not sure of the plumbing routes but I've read some folks have an issue with the pipe being somewhat horizontal from the toilet over to the tank. It may be possible a "bomb" didn't make the entire trip and may be "resting" in the dry pipe before it terminates into the tank. Put a cup of ice in the toilet and flush it away. It may assist in breaking away any solids that may be there. The vent pipe to the ceiling may also be obstructed somehow causing fumes to accumulate in tank.

Doubt that this is the issue. It will crank, but not start. If i remember, the problemyou reference, it wouldn't even crank.
Ford put their computer on it and it pointed to the crank sensor, bit not a specific part.
